Eleven political events have substituted their nominations for the November 6 Anambra governorship ballot.
This was contained in a press release on Thursday by the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee’s Chairman, Data and Voter Schooling Committee, Mr Festus Okoye.
Okoye mentioned the timetable and schedule of actions permitted by INEC on January 18, supplied for withdrawal/substitution of candidates, consistent with Part 35 of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended).
“Accordingly, by the deadline of July 30 fastened by the fee, seven governorship, and 11 deputy governorship candidates, have been substituted by 11 out of the 18 political events,” he added.

Accord Get together, with Maduka Godwin as governorship candidate and Obi Ifeatu as his deputy
Motion Alliance, with Ettaba Chukwuogo as governorship candidate and Uchero Nwao as his deputy.
African Motion Congress, with Nwankwo Chidozie as governorship candidate and Nwaebili Clare as deputy
Motion Democratic Get together, with Maxwell Chukwujama as deputy governorship candidate.
All Progressives Congress had Chukwuemeka Okafor as deputy governorship candidate
Allied Peoples Motion, submitted Onyejegbu Okwudili and Onuora Letitia as substituted governorship and deputy governorship candidates respectively.
Ezenwafor Victor and Ojukwu Chukwuma as Nationwide Rescue Motion substituted governorship and deputy governorship candidates
Igbo Gozie as deputy governorship candidate for Peoples Redemption Get together.
Uzoh Godwin as governorship and Chira Obiora as deputy governorship candidates of the Social Democratic Get together
Okechukwu Eze as deputy governorship candidate of the Younger Progressives Get together.
Zenith Labour Get together, submitted Okonkwo Francis as governorship candidate and Jessie Uka as his deputy.
The substituted candidates for All Progressives Floor Alliance, “consistent with the court docket order”, is Charles Soludo, as governorship candidate, and Ibezim Gilbert, as his deputy.
INEC mentioned the ultimate listing of candidates could be revealed on October 7.
