Declare Buni’s governorship seat vacant, PDP begs court docket

The Peoples Democratic Social gathering on Wednesday dragged the Yobe State Governor and Chairman of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Nationwide Conference Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Mai Mala Buni, to the Federal Excessive Courtroom, Abuja.

It prayed the Courtroom to declare that Buni contravened provisions of Part 108 of the Structure of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As amended), by retaining his seat as Yobe State governor whereas presiding over the affairs of the APC as chairman.
