APC can’t win an election with a divided home –Aspirant

An All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Mr Kayode Ojo, has appealed to members of the celebration to shut ranks to ensure that the celebration to retain the state in 2022.

Ojo, who spoke in Ikoro Ekiti, in Ijero Council Space, on Monday, stated the outcry that trailed Saturday’s APC ward congresses was uncalled for.

He stated, “Forward of the 2022 governorship election, the management of our nice celebration wants to make sure unity amongst members. The APC will probably be doing itself an excellent hazard approaching the ballot with a divided home.”

He suggested that governorship aspirants ought to be given a stage enjoying floor on the primaries, including, “any try and impose unpopular candidates on the folks of Ekiti could be an excellent failure”.

Ojo revealed that he has began consultations with celebration leaders and members forward of the election.

The aspirant defined that his mission was to unlock the potential of the state by way of execution of laudable initiatives and programmes along with persevering with with these of the Kayode Fayemi administration.

He stated that the state has huge potential in industries, agriculture, mining and schooling along with human capital, including that the cargo airport being constructed by the Fayemi administration, when accomplished, could be the catalyst for the state’s financial growth.
