2023: Why Igbo presidential aspirants have not declared ambition -Ohanaeze

A faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World-wide has mentioned that many presidential aspirants from South-East are placing ending tourches to their plans.

The group mentioned this whereas reacting to a remark by a former Works and Housing Minister, Adeseye Ogunlewe, that South-East can’t produce Nigeria’s president in 2023 as a result of they lack unity.

Ohanaeze, in a press release by its secretary-general, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, faulted Ogunlewe and accused him of engaing in “fallacies and falsehoods.”

The group threatened that blocking the South-East presidential aspirants might result in seccession and disintegration.

Opposite to Ogunlewe’s claims, Ohanaeze mentioned the Igbo are united in its aspiration for the 2023 presidency.

The assertion learn partly, “Ordinarily, we’d have ignored the person affected by mouth diarrhoea, however we name on Nigerians to disregard him, as 2023 is the not about South East however the restore of a rustic sinking deep into the abyss of disintegration and insecurity.

“Ogunlewe shouldn’t be talking for “Omo Oduduwa or Yoruba nation” women and men of morality from the South East are supporting and canvassing for the 2023 Igbo Presidency, not the 2023 South East Presidency, the distinction between the previous and latter is what the likes of Ogunlewe might not comprehend simply.
