Males of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested an ex-convict, Jamiu Malomo, for allegedly killing a suspected intercourse employee, Azeezat Akande, 28.
The incident occurred at Ilupeju group, Oke-Aregba, Abeokuta, after the 18-year-old suspect had intercourse with the sufferer.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed these in a press release on Wednesday.
Oyeyemi stated the suspect was arrested following a report lodged on the Adatan police divisional headquarters by the Chairman, Ilupeju group, Adisa Lawal.
Lawal was stated to have instructed the police that residents wakened on Sunday, July 18, 2021, solely to find the lifeless physique of the girl, who was stabbed to dying on a rock within the space; a bloodstained knife was positioned beside her.
